Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 19, 2026
Pinloop is operated by Pin Me Up Co LLC and developed and published by Cadence Creative Studio LLC (together, “Pinloop,” “we,” “us,” or “the Company”). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Pinloop is an 18+ service. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use Pinloop.
What we collect and why
- Account information. Your email, username, display name, and country, plus any optional profile details you add (bio, home park, collecting preferences, pin photos). We use these to create and run your account.
- Identity and age verification. Verification is performed by Stripe, using Stripe Identity. You submit your government ID and a selfie to Stripe. Pinloop does not receive or store your ID document, your ID number, or a copy of your photo. From Stripe we receive only the result: a confirmation that your identity was verified and that you are 18 or older. We compute the 18-or-older check and then discard the date of birth; we keep only a marker that you are an adult and the time verification completed. Stripe processes and retains the underlying documents under its own privacy policy.
- Shipping address. When you save a shipping address, it is encrypted at rest and the encryption key is held separately from the database. Your address is never shown to another collector until you and a counterparty both agree to a trade, and then only to that counterparty and only for that trade.
- Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe does. We store references (such as a Stripe customer identifier and a saved payment-method token) needed to charge the one-time identity verification fee and any shipping labels you buy.
- Trading and content. Pin photos and details, your in-search-of list, trade activity, reviews, and messages you send through Pinloop.
- Device and usage. App version, device and operating system, general usage, and your IP address (for security and rate-limiting). We collect coarse, city-level location only if you opt in; we do not collect precise GPS location.
How we use your information
To operate Pinloop, verify identity and age, enable and protect trades, process payments and shipping, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-app advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what each provider needs to do its job:
- Stripe, for identity verification and payment processing.
- Shipping providers and carriers, to create labels and confirm delivery by tracking.
- Our hosting and database provider, to run the service.
- Our email provider, to send account and, if you opt in, marketing messages.
- A trade counterparty, who receives your shipping address only after mutual agreement.
- Law enforcement or others, where required by law or to protect safety and our rights.
How your address is protected
Your shipping address lives in an encrypted vault. It is decrypted only server-side, only to create a shipping label or to release it to a counterparty you have agreed to trade with, and every access is logged. No other collector can read your address without your agreement.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time from the app. When you do, your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within about 30 days. On deletion we destroy the encryption key to your address vault (so the stored address becomes unrecoverable), remove your profile and pins, and sever your identity from any shared trade or message records so a counterparty’s history stays intact without exposing you. We retain a minimal record where the law, a safety or fraud concern, or a financial obligation requires it. Other information is kept only as long as needed for the purposes above.
Your choices and rights
You can access and update your profile in the app, delete your account, and unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in any such email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your information; contact us to exercise them.
Security and age
We use encryption, access controls, and least-privilege practices to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but protecting your address and identity is core to how Pinloop is built. Pinloop is for adults 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the effective date above when we do. Questions or requests? Email pins@pinloop.me or write to us at Pin Me Up Co LLC, 16440 Windsor Cay Blvd, Clermont, FL 34714.
